Steve and Kyndra had a beautiful day in my hometown of Collingwood. I grew up with Steve and Kyndra and was so honoured when they asked me to photograph their wedding. Thanks to my wonderful associate Chelsea for photographing while I did video for the day.
We started off the day getting ready in Wasaga Beach where there was tons of fun and lots of old friends who I haven’t seen since high school. Truly this wedding was like a giant high school reunion for me (and I’m sure many others).
After getting ready we headed down to the grain terminals for the first look, wedding party photos and bride and groom photos. To top it off, Kyndra had a friend of the family who has wheat fields at the base of Blue Mountain which made for some absolutely stunning photos. After the photos were done they had their ceremony at the Shipyards Amphitheatre in Collingwood which is a absolutely gorgeous setting with the grain terminals in the background. The amphitheatre has no chairs and instead uses large rocks as seating in truly rustic form.
Finally the reception was held at the Collingwood Legion where the fun speeches and memories were shared followed by dancing all night long.
To cap off the day, we went down to Sunset Point Park to do some cool night shots with the grain terminals/harbour in the backdrop.
Thanks so much for letting me be part of your big day! Best wishes to you two!
