It’s always nice to get to go back to go to do weddings of childhood friends. Ryan is the brother of a good friend of mine from high-school and university days and so it was nice getting to see lots of familiar faces at their wedding at the LazyDayz Bed & Breakfast near Barrie (my father-in-law even made the highly selective blog post cut 😜).
Brittany had her whole day at LazyDayz including getting ready, the ceremony and their reception. Ryan started getting ready with my associate photographer Kyle at Ryan & Brittany’s home just outside Stayner. After which they made their way over to LazyDayz for the ceremony and the rest of the day.
I always rave about country venues, but they allow for my creative juices to just flow so naturally. We were right near HorseShoe Valley Ski Resort so we went and got some great pictures overlooking the hills and valley on Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club to make the best of a beautifully sunny fall afternoon.
The reception was filled with great speeches and tons of laughs and a boot stomping night of dancing in the barn. We capped the night off with some super epic night time shots with stars.
