Have I ever raved how much I love a country wedding? The lack of light pollution makes it possible to get awesome shots at night with stars, beautiful picturesque fields for sunset photos and no traffic! Three Bridges in St. Jacob’s was no exception to my love of country venues.
Ryan & Allyssa had me photograph their wedding and I was so honoured to be part of their day. I started the day off in Guelph photographing the girls getting ready while my lovely second photographer Hannah Durston was photographing the guys getting ready at the Inn of Waterloo.
Unfortunately the Grand River flooded the day before the wedding which submerged part of Three Bridges under water which required a change of location for the ceremony. So what was planned to be a perfectly arranged seated ceremony became a standing room ceremony – it was unique – and cute.
During the rest of the day we just dashed outside for sunset photos (gotta love the natural light at golden hour), night time photos under the stars and tons and tons of dancing photos. Hannah and I had a blast at your big day and hope you can relive it through the photos.
