Patrick and Jasmine were a referral from a previous couple of mine from spring of last year; referrals are truly the best complement I can receive from my past couples. Last fall, Patrick and Jasmine and I did engagement photos in Niagara Falls and had some of the best clouds/light I have ever experienced. Now onto their spectacular wedding day…
The day started off with getting ready at Patrick’s parent’s house for the guys and Patrick and Jasmine’s house for the gals. I had my trusted associate Chelsea shooting with me and she managed the guys while I went with the ladies. We got a ton of great candid moments at both places as their wedding parties were just an awesome bunch to be around.
The ceremony took place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hamilton which is filled with old character and charm (and few photography rules which allowed us free reign to capture the moments in this beautiful location).
Afterward we went to Battlefield House Museum & Park to do bride and groom and wedding party photos. This location is beautiful – big wide open areas for sunlit shots, an amazing tower and beautiful shady areas with nicely manicured grass and hedge all provide for awesome photos.
Finally the party started at Carmen’s Banquet Hall in Hamilton and the party raged on. The bridesmaids had an awesome entrance dance along with the groomsmen. The uplighting provided for some great colour as a backdrop to the crazy festivities. We finished off the day with a couple beautiful night shots on the bridge across the road from Carmen’s Banquet Hall complete with a dip.
Congratulations to the happy couple and best wishes.
