I have been looking forward to this wedding for a long time. If I have number one fan Sam definitely would be it – she likes and comments on all my posts and so I have been eager to return the favour for her and give her absolutely lovely wedding photos.
Josh & Sam had their amazing Disney fairytale themed wedding at the picture perfect Hacienda Sarria. If you’ve never been to this venue before or are considering having a wedding at one of the best venues in Kitchener, Waterloo region, I strongly suggest checking this place out! In any case, the day started and ended at Hacienda Sarria – getting ready was done in their amazing bridal suites that have tons of interesting decor pieces to make for super interesting photos with tons of layers. The grounds around the venue have perfectly manicured hedges, trees and foliage that make for absolutely beautiful wedding portraits. We even got lucky with some beautiful sunset shots to cap off the bride and groom photos. A big thanks to my associate Chelsea who alternated with me on lead photography while I did the video work.
After the ceremony, Sam’s mom and step dad surprised Samantha & Joshua with a horse drawn carriage straight out of a Disney movie. The shock and surprise was obvious to everyone and it made for a bunch of great moments that I had the pleasure of capturing.
The reception at Hacienda was filled with twinkle lights and beautiful blue natural light flowing in from the giant skylight above. It perfectly set the mood for the couple’s speeches and first dance.
Overall it was a spectacular day and I was so honoured to play a part of it.
