I am so excited to share Joel & Katie’s beautiful wedding at Whistlebear. I met Katie at my “real” job at RLB where I am an accountant and she does all things business development. It’s always an honour when a friend asks me for wedding photos; and it’s also a little bit extra pressure.
The day started off at Norfolk Guest House, a beautiful bed and breakfast in Guelph where all the ladies were getting ready for the mornings. The morning was filled to the brim with emotion; tears of joy and tons of giggles filled the rooms of the mansion. Norfolk Guest House has beautiful classic woodwork with a modern flare and lots of natural light which made for awesome photos.
I met up with Joel and the guys at the golf club to do some shots of them getting ready and the very real struggle of putting on boutonnieres.
The ceremony was held at Whistlebear inside and was absolutely breathtaking, as was the bride. We had a beautiful day for photos with lots of sun and a beautiful sunset, some snowy areas and some more grassy areas which made for absolutely breathtaking photos of the happy couple.
The reception was filled with laughs, long (the good awesome and funny kind of long) speeches and then amazing dancing by Katie and her friends from salsa class. The party was a blast and we finished off the night with some beautiful night time shots under the stars around the Whistlebear property.
Congratulations Joel and Katie
