New year’s weddings are always so much fun; David and Nicole’s wedding at The Pines in Cambridge was no exception.
David and the boys were getting ready photographed by my awesome second Pete (who ended up singing 3 or 4 songs in the kissing game during dinner, a story for another day). I started with the girls getting ready because when you get to choose between the girls or the boys you choose the girls every time :).
Nicole’s bunch of ladies were an absolute blast and we had tons of fun opening gifts, drinking mimosas and getting ready for the big day. We then headed off to Victoria Park in Kitchener to do all the formal pictures and boy was it cold. I believe it never went above -20 Celsius for the day, but David & Nicole were champs and we got absolutely to die for light.
Heading back to The Pines, the moment that everyone was waiting for was here: the ceremony. It was heartfelt and beautiful and put on (and the day was coordinated) by the wonderful team from Maeck Weddings. We then had the opportunity to do a bunch of fun night time photos with snow, and sparklers.
The reception was filled with laughs, the singing kissing game and a beautiful choreographed first dance. David has some moves as you will see in the photos and everyone had a blast ringing in the New Year.
