Oh hi! My name is Pete and I am NOT the same guy as the photographer from the title on the website (inside joke). I’m one of many photographers who took “the leap” into weddings and have enjoyed some success over the years as a full-time wedding photographer. With Peter B, I get to bring this experience to you and continue this journey in wedding photography.
My Happy Face 🙂
I grew up in a small handful of cities across Ontario: Peterborough, Oshawa, Exeter, London, and eventually Kitchener which is where I currently call home. When I first moved here, my weekends were spent with a camera in my hand, chasing light and special events going on in my community. Somehow that landed my first booking: a destination wedding in Punta Cana (not bad for a newbie). Now I shoot one destination wedding per year, on top of the 30-40 bookings I do when I’m on home soil. When I’m not shooting weddings, I like being active: in the gym or on a volleyball court with my friends.
When I have downtime, I like to relax my dog and read whatever I can get my hands on. As a wedding photographer, I’m always looking for meaningful details. I love getting to know my couples, their families, and the vendors who are also part of their special day. When people ask me about my approach to shooting weddings, I believe it’s important to be very personal and intimate while sticking to a traditional style, but allowing some room for creativity. Most importantly, your wedding is a celebration – so let’s treat it that way and have some fun!
